Ingredients
1cupwhole milk
3/4cupgranulated sugar
2cupsheavy cream
pinchsalt
1tablespoonvanilla
Instructions
Put the cold milk and cream in a large bowl.
Add the sugar, salt and vanilla. Mix well with a whisk.
Turn on the ice cream maker. Now pour this delightful mixture into the top of the machine. Allow it to turn for about 20 minutes and it will look like soft custard.
Add the chopped strawberries. Allow the fruit and ice cream to churn for another 5 minutes and then serve immediately. It will be soft and creamy. If you like ice cream a bit more firm, remove the lid and the plastic paddle and place the whole freezer bowl in the freezer for at least 2 hours. When you are ready for dessert, scoop it into a bowl and enjoy!
