There is always so much to look forward to in March! Warmer weather, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and cheering for our favorite teams during March Madness is on the horizon. All of this encourages us to make the best snacks, main courses and desserts this month.

Spring has us looking ahead to nicer weather, gathering with friends, and enjoying lots of green foods. Whether that means lettuce and veggies for a salad, or green desserts to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. There is so much to look forward to in March!
Who won last month’s Cooking Challenge?
Thanks to everyone who visited raveaboutfood.com, made recipes and left reviews last month. It was a busy month of making soups and breads to comfort us and keep us warm during those snowy days of February and making special treats to show our love on Valentine’s Day.
Our winner(s) for last month are Joanne and Frank Ferguson from Australia. They have been fans for a long time and often make this recipe for Loaded Potato Waffles, one of the Top 3 most popular recipes at raveaboutfood.com.
Joanne made Loaded Potato Waffles and left this review with a 5-star rating:
“Frank and I have made these several times and they always come out great and are very satisfying.”
Thanks to my friends Down Under for their kind review. I hope you continue to visit often and find more delicious recipes to make.

What were the most popular recipes made in February?
The most popular recipes last month included soups, bread, hearty main dishes, snacks for the Super Bowl and sweet treats for Valentine’s Day. Recipes that are easy to make, affordable, and made to celebrate special moments were at the top of the list.
Jina R. from Ohio made Crispy Baked Chicken Wings and left this review with a 5-star rating:
“These baked chicken wings are amazing! I love that they’re a healthier option than fried wings, and the crispiness is unreal. That baking powder trick really works—perfect for game day and definitely finger-licking good!”
I’m thrilled that you made this favorite recipe and shared your success with us. Thanks to everyone who reached out with a question, made recipes and shared your excitement for new recipes last month.
