Notes
What can I add to my Strawberry Smoothie?Protein- Add plant-based protein powder, such as pea protein, to boost metabolism and nutrients in the smoothie. Pumpkin seeds add protein and are rich in antioxidants. Blend in chia seeds for a thicker smoothie and more protein.Ice- If you use fresh strawberries, you may want to add ice to the blender to make your smoothie cold. Only add 1/2 cup of ice, as you don't want to water it down.More Fruit- Add half of an apple for sweetness, half of a peach for acidity, or a handful of raspberries for a tart flavor combination with the strawberries. Be careful about using too many fruits with seeds, as strawberries already contain hundreds of seeds.
