Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 25 ounce jar of pasta sauce
  • 1 16 ounce box of jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups of Ricotta cheese (1 16 ounce container)
  • 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • a pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 cups of Mozzarella cheese

How to make Stuffed Pasta Shells?

  • Boil pasta shells in a large pot according to package directions. Drain pasta and allow to cool slightly.
  • While pasta is cooking, brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add pasta sauce to the sausage and simmer on low.

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the Ricotta, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir until combined.
