Key Ingredients:

Pizza Dough– Two tubes of refrigerated pizza dough are used for this recipe. Premade dough is a real time-saver on busy nights and weekends. Just roll it out and add your toppings. Can’t find refrigerated pizza dough? Use two tubes (8 ounces) of crescent roll dough instead.

Pizza Sauce– Pick a good one! You will use it in the muffins and for dipping. I recommend Mezzetta Pizza sauce. We think it’s the best!

Mini Pepperoni– These bite-size pepperoni are the best size for making Pizza Muffins. You can find them with the regular size pepperoni in the grocery store. If not, simply cut the larger pepperoni in half.

Mozzarella Cheese– Shredded mozzarella cheese makes these muffins cheesy and delicious. Don’t skimp on the cheese, it really holds the muffins together and makes them gooey and yummy! A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese added to the top of each muffin before baking makes the muffins even more tasty.

Italian Seasoning– Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the sauce before rolling and baking the muffins. This adds extra flavor to the Pizza Muffins.
