They not only taste decadent, but they are beautiful as well. And there’s no need to buy them or spend a small fortune for these delicious treats. They are easy to make and your Valentine will appreciate the effort you put into making them yourself.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe
What’s needed?
- 20 fresh strawberries
- 16 ounces CandiQuik candy coating (or semi sweet chocolate chips)
- 1/4 cup crushed candy pieces
- 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
- 1/4 cup red or white sprinkles
After dipping the berries, decorate them with crushed candy or sprinkles, if desired.

How to make Chocolate Covered Strawberries?
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Wash the strawberries and lay them on a towel. Make sure they are completely dry before dipping. Leave the green tops on the berries.
- Pour sprinkles and candy pieces into separate bowls.
- Put 16 ounces of CandiQuik in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir gently. Microwave for another 30 seconds and stir again, chocolate coating should be soft and smooth. See package instructions.
- Holding the berry by the leaves, dip and roll until evenly covered with chocolate. Allow excess to drip off. Add sprinkles while the chocolate is soft, if desired. Place the berries on a piece of parchment paper until chocolate has hardened.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients
- 20 strawberries
- 16 ounces CandiQuik, or chocolate almond bark
- 1/4 cup crushed candy pieces
- 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
- 1/4 cup sprinkles, white or red
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and lay them on a towel. Make sure they are completely dry before dipping. Leave the green tops on the berries.

- Put 2 blocks of Candi-Quick (16 ounces) in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir gently. Microwave for another 30 seconds and stir again, chocolate coating should be soft and smooth.
- Holding each berry by the leaves, dip and roll until covered with chocolate. Allow excess to drip off. Add sprinkles while the chocolate is soft, if desired. Place the berries on a piece of parchment paper until chocolate is hardened. Recipe makes 20 chocolate covered strawberries.
