November is a time for giving thanks, so I’d like to THANK everyone who participated in last month’s cooking challenge. We had dozens of participants and a couple of winners! It was a great month and November is looking even better.

October was a busy month filled with lots of new recipes and some fantastic reviews! You were looking for comforting meals and fall desserts in October. Everything from White Chicken Chili and Hearty Crockpot Casserole to Pumpkin Roll and Apple Crisp. Many of you entered the cooking challenge and I’m happy to say, “We have a winner…or two!”

Who won the October 2026 Cooking Challenge?

The winner of the October Cooking Challenge was randomly drawn from dozens of entries. The winner is Patricia Horvath of Newport News, Virginia. Trisha made Apple Crisp for her family and she left this 5-star review.

The November 2026 Cooking Challenge

And today we begin the November Cooking Challenge. I hope those of you who joined me last month will keep on cooking and leaving reviews. I invite all home cooks to participate and find some great new recipes to make this month.

How do you join us? Simply pick a recipe, make it and review it here at raveaboutfood.com. Be sure to include a rating with your review. There are some suggested recipes listed below that I know you’ll love. But selecting ANY recipe and submitting a review will get you entered in the monthly drawing for a $25 Amazon Gift Card.
