Peaches are by far one of the reasons that I love summer. Plump and juicy, we eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am always creating new recipes that use peaches in tasty ways. Fresh Peach Salsa Recipe
What’s needed:
- Fresh Peaches– Peel the peaches by blanching them quickly in boiling water. Remove the skins and cut into small 1/4-inch pieces.
- Roma Tomatoes– Roma are sweet and have fewer seeds that larger tomatoes. Dice them into small pieces and add them to the salsa.
- Peppers– Green pepper and jalapeño pepper is used to give the salsa some added sweetness and some heat.
- Lime– Squeeze fresh lime juice over the salsa to give it an acidic, bright flavor. This will balance the sweetness of the fruit and veggies in the salsa.
The recipe is super simple to make and takes about 10 minutes from beginning to end. It is important to dice your ingredients small and uniform in size. This allows you to get a bite with all the flavors of the salsa. Once you have it all chopped, put it in a bowl and add the juice of one small lime.
