Ingredients:

- PUMPKIN PIE SPICE– This spice is a combination of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and allspice and adds a warm flavor to the bread.
- PECANS– Gives the bread a nutty flavor and a crunchy texture.
- CREAM CHEESE– This tangy cheese gets added to egg, milk and sugar to make a creamy swirl in this delicious bread.
- CONFECTIONERS’ SUGAR– Sweet powdered sugar and milk are used to make a glaze for this delicious pumpkin bread.
How to make Pumpkin Bread with Cream Cheese?
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Spray the bottom and sides of a 9×5-inch bread pan with cooking spray. Dust with flour, set aside. Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl or stand-mixer, combine the pumpkin, sugar, egg, oil, and milk. Mix until blended.
- In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients for the bread, except for the nuts.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mix until blended. Add the pecans and stir.
- Now, for the filling! In a medium bowl, blend the cream cheese, sugar, egg and milk until creamy. Pour half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan, then top with the cream cheese filling, and finally top with the remaining batter.

- Bake the bread in a 350 degree oven for about 55-58 minutes. It will be firm to the touch and golden brown. While the bread is baking, mix the topping ingredients in a small bowl until blended. When the bread has cooled, remove it from the loaf pan and drizzle the topping over it. Recipe makes 8 thick slices of bread.
